Teacher needed no lessons for wedding at Reed Hall Exeter Devon

Usually one of the bridal couple will have a tummy full of butterflies but at the wedding of Pete and Katrina the butterflies must have escaped. Pete and school teacher Katrina held their wedding at Reed Hall in Exeter, Devon. The couple’s young son made a brilliant ring bearer taking care of the rings and the delightful ring cushion which was in line with the butterfly theme. Pete who works for Aerospace must have been on cloud nine when he saw how gorgeous Katrina looked in her beautiful strapless laced back wedding dress. It was a super wedding to photograph and the couple obviously needed no lessons in love!

Love sealed at Cadbury House in Somerset.

The gorgeous Cadbury House in Somerset was the venue for the wedding of Scott and Beverley. I had the pleasure of photographing Scott’s sister Sam last year so it was good to have the honour of doing the same for Scott and Beverley. Bride Beverley looked stunning in her beautiful embroidered strapless wedding dress, Beverley was accompanied by three lovely bridesmaids whose dresses matched her bouquet and groom Scott’s buttonhole. The wedding was filled with fun and laughter especially when the happy couple decided to play the guitars from the live band they had hired. Plymouth born accountant Scott has acquired something money cannot buy and pharmacist Beverley has something even the most powerful medicine cannot cure- true love!

Wedding at the Two Bridges Hotel in Devon

When heating engineer Roy married bride sam at Bickleigh Church, Roborough in Devon he was not only accompanied by a best man, he had

two of them. Roy’s bride Sam wore an off the shoulder Ian Stuart of London dress. Sam’s dress was accessorised by a lovely tiara and a bouquet of different coloured roses. Although the happy couple chose to have a reportage style coverage they did require some contemporary photographs. As the images show this was enjoyed by them as they posed beside the Two Bridges Hotel on Dartmoor. Congratulations !!!

Cornwall wedding Bride cuts bestman’s heart…

When Jenna got married at Antony St James the Great in Cornwall she didn’t mind that it was raining men, cats or dogs. She already had the man she wanted in groom Clamans. Family travelled far and wide to attend this special occassion and the Bestman brought a surprise gift. A draped frame from which the happy couple had the task of cutting out a heart shape. This German custom symbolised the couple are now sharing one heart.

Boconnoc House hosts TV presenter’s wedding.

Although bride Katherine vowed to love groom Matthew during their wedding at Boconnoc House, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, she soon gave him the boot (welly boot)! Television presenter Katherine and aerospace engineer Matthew had a fun filled wedding with welly throwing, space hopping and other games. Even though the bride looked stunning in her off the shoulder dress it didn’t stop her from joining in with the space hopping, she seemed to take great delight in watching Matthew trying to stay upright on the hopper. It was well worth travelling from Plymouth to photograph this fun wedding and just to see them being framed! ps: please leave a comment!!

Wet Devon Wedding…

Although it rained when the bride Kim married her groom Joe there must have been a rainbow hidden somewhere, for at the end of a rainbow is treasure and there was plenty of love to treasure that day. The couple held their wedding at Combe House , the happy couple didn’t let the weather spoil their day and continued to smile throughout their special day.

Mistletoe and wine

Sara and Ben’s smiles warmed up a very cold windy December day at the end of 2008. Sara and Ben got married at St Nicholas Church in Saltash , Cornwall. The couple crossed the border into Devon to make their way to The Two Bridges Hotel where the mistletoe was waiting. The wedding guests soon warmed up at the reception by dancing to the live band. Fairytale wedding at Coombe House Devon,

Deena and Richard flew back from Australia to get married in Devon. Deena was made up by her relative Adam who has worked for musical celebrities. Deena arrived at Coombe House in a horse and carriage where snooker player Richard was right on cue saying his vows. What a fantastic day even the thundery showers did not spoil the fun

Plymouth wedding Photography

St Elizabeth’s House in Plymouth, Devon was the ideal location to host the reception for Sarah and Matthew’s wedding. After the ceremony at Wembury Church the happy couple made their way to the Georgian Manor. The beautifuuly landscaped gardens were a picturesque background that complimented Sarah’s beauty as she and Matthew sipped champagne with their guests.
