Pete and school teacher Katrina held their wedding at Reed Hall in Exeter, Devon. The couple’s young son made a brilliant ring bearer taking care of the rings and the delightful ring cushion which was in line with the butterfly theme. Pete who works for Aerospace must have been on cloud nine when he saw how gorgeous Katrina looked in her beautiful strapless laced back wedding dress. It was a super wedding to photograph and the couple obviously needed no lessons in love!

I had the pleasure of photographing Scott’s sister Sam last year so it was good to have the honour of doing the same for Scott and Beverley.  Bride Beverley looked stunning in her beautiful embroidered strapless wedding dress, Beverley was accompanied by three lovely bridesmaids whose dresses matched her bouquet and groom Scott’s buttonhole. The wedding was filled with fun and laughter especially when the happy couple decided to play the guitars from the live band they had hired. Plymouth born accountant Scott  has acquired something money cannot buy and pharmacist Beverley has something even the most powerful medicine cannot cure- true love!

two of them. Roy’s bride Sam wore an off the shoulder Ian Stuart of London dress. Sam’s dress was accessorised by a lovely tiara and a bouquet of different coloured roses. Although the happy couple chose to have a reportage style coverage they did require some contemporary photographs. As the images show this was enjoyed by them as they posed beside the Two Bridges Hotel on Dartmoor. Congratulations !!!

She already had the man she wanted in groom Clamans. Family travelled far and wide to attend this special occassion and the Bestman brought a surprise gift. A draped frame from which the happy couple had the task of cutting out a heart shape. This German custom symbolised the couple are now sharing one heart.

Television presenter Katherine and aerospace engineer  Matthew had a fun filled wedding with welly throwing, space hopping and other games. Even though the bride looked stunning in her off the shoulder dress it didn’t stop her from joining in with the space hopping, she seemed to take great delight in watching Matthew trying to stay upright on the hopper. It was well worth travelling from Plymouth to photograph this fun wedding and just to see them being framed!   ps: please leave a comment!!

“One of the reasons I love being a wedding photographer in Plymouth Devon is because I get to shoot bridal sessions at beautiful venues like Carbis Bay Hotel.  The venue for the  wedding of  Leanne and Nicholas. Actor Nicholas had  learned his lines well and said them clearly and with emotion. It was clear to see he wasn’t acting when he portrayed his love for Leanne who looked stunning in her beautiful  fifty’s style dress. The  day went well with no dramas and the whole wedding had a wonderful nostalgic feel to it.

Plymouth teacher Noel Mitchell swapped his tracksuit for smart tails when he married bride Leanne Ayre. the couple were introduced by photographer’s daughter Hayley who has been very good friends with Leanne for many years. The wedding took place at the Carbis Bay Hotel in Cornwall, a special place where Noel had proposed to Leanne on the beach. Although The Carbis bay Hotel has stunning scenery it was no competition for the lovely bride who looked a perfect picture in her  beautiful strapless dress.

The Continental Hotel in Plymouth was the wedding venue for Angela and Darren. Not only were the couple game for a laugh but their bridesmaids also joined in the fun. The girls were so delighted to be bridesmaids they ended up jumping for joy. Even the showery weather couldn’t dampen their spirits. It was a fun wedding to photograph.
