How time flies… Dartington Wedding

Once upon a time there was a family who were photographed by David. The family dreamed that one day theiryoung daughter would have a fairytale wedding, this came true when Amelia married pilot Sacha. Once again David had the honour of photographing this family. The wedding took place at St Mary’s Church, Dartington and the reception was held at Dartington Hall., Devon The happy couple were musically entertained by Amelia’s brother Jonathan and his band partner when they played the guitar and the drums. Another relative filled the church with organ music. It was ‘plane’ to see how much Amelia and pilot Sacha loved each other, they were obviously on cloud nine-maybe Sacha flew them there !

Cornish bride Katie shows how deep her love is for Neil.

Take That fan Katie was pleased to follow Take That’s advice “see the light on your face let it shine” when she married Neil at St Lalluwy Church Menheniot in Cornwall. the song also mentions “your time is coming don’t be late, Katie’s journey in a vintage Rolls Royce ensured she arrived on time. The couple held their reception at Boconnoc House, near Lostwithiel in Cornwall, where Neil took Katie’s hand for the first dance which just happened to be a Take That song. The fabulous sunshine, the jazz band and the six lovely bridesmaids helped to make the first line of another Take That song relevant, “today this could be the greatest day of our lives.” it really was a great day and nobody needed to ask “how deep is your love?” because their smiles radiated love.

Princesses at Plymouth Wedding…

Not only did Dan have a bride who looked like a princess on his wedding day, he was also given access to the wharf that housed Princess Yachts. Dan and his bride Sam were married at Bickleigh Church and held their reception at The Bridge in Mountbatten, Plymouth. The blue and white theme was enhanced by the couple’s sparkling blue eyed gazes that soon dried up the wet weather and brought out the sunshine.

Dartington Hall wedding of Julie & Chris

St Andrews church in Ashburton was the wedding venue, when civil servant Chris married dietician Julie. The happy couple celebrated their marriage at Dartington Hall, Devon they were accompanied by a string quartet, there was also croquet and scottish dancing to ensure all the guests had a fun filled day. Wedding couple halted by a zebra……..

The doors of St Euctachus Church in Tavistock ,Devon were opened wide to allow for the filling of Sibylle and Matthew’s guests at their recent wedding. Not only were the smiles gleaming but the cars had obviously had a good polish. The weather was an impression of Matthew’s mother’s eyes, dry to beginwith but became wet later on. It wasn’t the zebra crossing but the happy couple crossing the road to enjoy their reception at the Bedford Hotel. To cap it all Sibylle’s parents flew all the way from Germany to witness the marriage of their daughter to dentist Matthew. Polhawn Fort wedding

Australian groom Campbell brought his own can of Fosters to toast his wedding to Katie.

The couple tied the knot at Polhawn Fort, one of Cornwall’s top wedding destinations. Although the weather was dry it was still very cold but Campbell’s kisses obviously warmed Katie enough to brave the beach. This loving couple ensured their special day was packed with lots of fun as well as lots of love.

Mistletoe and wine

Sara and Ben’s smiles warmed up a very cold windy December day at the end of 2008. Sara and Ben got married at St Nicholas Church in Saltash , Cornwall. The couple crossed the border into Devon to make their way to The Two Bridges Hotel where the mistletoe was waiting. The wedding guests soon warmed up at the reception by dancing to the live band. Fairytale wedding at Coombe House Devon,

Deena and Richard flew back from Australia to get married in Devon. Deena was made up by her relative Adam who has worked for musical celebrities. Deena arrived at Coombe House in a horse and carriage where snooker player Richard was right on cue saying his vows. What a fantastic day even the thundery showers did not spoil the fun

Plymouth wedding

St Elizabeth’s House in Plymouth, Devon was the ideal location to host the reception for Sarah and Matthew’s wedding. After the ceremony at Wembury Church the happy couple made their way to the Georgian Manor. The beautifuuly landscaped gardens were a picturesque background that complimented Sarah’s beauty as she and Matthew sipped champagne with their guests.
