Cornwall wedding Bride cuts bestman’s heart…

When Jenna got married at Antony St James the Great in Cornwall she didn’t mind that it was raining men, cats or dogs. She already had the man she wanted in groom Clamans. Family travelled far and wide to attend this special occassion and the Bestman brought a surprise gift. A draped frame from which the happy couple had the task of cutting out a heart shape. This German custom symbolised the couple are now sharing one heart.

16th Century building in Plymouth hosts wedding couple’s reception.

When Jane and Matthew got married at Holbeton Church in Devon they made sure their venue was as exquisite as the bride. The couple chose the lovely Elizabethan House, Boringdon Hall at Plympton in Plymouth for their reception. Boringdon Hall which is close to Dartmoor hosts many Plymouth weddings and was an ideal background to portray the beautiful bride and stunning groom.

Wet Devon Wedding…

Although it rained when the bride Kim married her groom Joe there must have been a rainbow hidden somewhere, for at the end of a rainbow is treasure and there was plenty of love to treasure that day. The couple held their wedding at Combe House , the happy couple didn’t let the weather spoil their day and continued to smile throughout their special day.

Mistletoe and wine

Sara and Ben’s smiles warmed up a very cold windy December day at the end of 2008. Sara and Ben got married at St Nicholas Church in Saltash , Cornwall. The couple crossed the border into Devon to make their way to The Two Bridges Hotel where the mistletoe was waiting. The wedding guests soon warmed up at the reception by dancing to the live band. Fairytale wedding at Coombe House Devon,

Deena and Richard flew back from Australia to get married in Devon. Deena was made up by her relative Adam who has worked for musical celebrities. Deena arrived at Coombe House in a horse and carriage where snooker player Richard was right on cue saying his vows. What a fantastic day even the thundery showers did not spoil the fun

Singing in the Rain

Like the song Singing in the Rain, Camilla and Simon laughed at the clouds and had smiles on their faces when they got married in Sherwell Church, North Devon. Not even the police blocking the roads due to the floods could dampen their special day. This was definetly the wettest wedding I attended throughout the year. It must have been love that kept the sunshine on the faces of this wonderful couple!

Wedding of Max and Juliette

They say there’s no rest for the wicked, well I must be very wicked because I have been extremely busy.

One couple that kept me busy was Max and Juliette. This couple chose Yarner House in Devon for their wedding venue. The day seemed to be enjoyed by all, even the little chap that was the recipient of Juliette’s kisses. No, I didn’t mean Max! Best wishes for a very happy future.

North Devon Wedding

Julie and Matts wedding took place at the Saunton Sands Hotel ,what a stunning location for a wedding over looking the sea in north Devon. There was a fantastic atmosphere all day, they really surprised me when they decided that they were going to walk along the beach at dusk it was well worth it.
